  1. What does Breqwatr Cloud Subscription Service ("BCSS") provide?

    BCSS provides organizations with the ability to consume Breqwatr Cloud Appliance on a month by month basis providing immediate access to all of the benefits of Breqwatr Cloud Platform, without the risk and upfront investment typically associated with purchasing on premise infrastructure (Hardware, Software and Professional Services).

  2. How is BCSS different from a lease?

    a. lease is a means of financing a purchase over a fixed term and may include origination fees, finance changes, and penalties for early termination. Leases may include maintenance and support for the respective product(s) and organizations typically regard a lease as a liability on their balance sheet.

    b. BCSS has no origination fees, no fixed term, and no penalties for early termination. Standard support and warranty are included and 60-days notice is all that is required to return the equipment.

    c. BCSS provides use of equipment with no transfer of title, so organizations do not incur depreciation related expenses on the equipment or identify it as a liability on their balance sheet.

  3. What type of organization is best suited for BCSS?

    a. Any organization or institution that looks at Cloud computing as an operating expense and;

    b. wants the benefits of the public cloud IaaS offerings (cost transparency, automation & orchestration, and self service) while maintaining the security, privacy and control that only on premise infrastructure can provide or;

    c. simply wants the flexibility and risk mitigation that only a pay-as-you-go strategy will allow or;

    d. organizations who are facing budget challenges and uncertainty yet want to remain agile from an IT operations perspective to ensure the business initiatives remain supported.

  4. How is BCSS billed to organizations?

    BCSS is billed on a monthly basis commencing once the organization has received the equipment. In the event that the organization wishes to cancel the subscription, 60-days written notice is all that is required at any point within the subscription period.

  5. What flexibility is built into the BCSS program? Does it allow organizations to flexibly manage their cloud resource needs?

    BCSS allows organizations to add or remove Breqwatr products from their environment to more effectively match demand for cloud computing resources. To remove / cancel an active appliance subscription, 60 days written notice is all that is required.

  6. Is there a minimum transaction size required for an organization to begin a subscription?

  7. Is there a minimum transaction size required to change (add or reduce) a subscription?

    No. each appliance is bound to its own subscription and therefore independently managed.

  8. How do organizations return product?

    a. The return process begins with 60-days written notice of the intent to return any equipment under the BCSS program. Organizations are then provided a full packet of return instructions to guide them through the return process. All equipment must be returned in good condition, with only normal wear and tear. Organizations are required to pay return freight via an insured global carrier.

    b. Organizations who have purchased BCSS through an authorized Breqwatr partner are to work with the partner to facilitate the return.

  9. Do organizations have the option to purchase Breqwatr products they have acquired under the BCSS program?

    Yes. At any time a participating organization can purchase outright any product that has been obtained under the BCSS program at fair market value.

  10. Will Breqwatr provide a managed inventory arrangement as part of the BCSS program?

    No. Breqwatr will not consign product or provide managed inventory under BCSS. However, Breqwatr will work directly with organizations or via the registered partner who is supporting BCSS to anticipate additional capacity requirements in an effort to minimize any gaps between supply and demand.

    Breqwatr Essential Support is included as part of the subscription. This will include the following; Next Business Day parts delivery, 9×5¬†technical phone support, Breqwatr Cloud platform software maintenance providing updates, patches, hot fixes and features release upgrades.
